The ‘Building the Future’, dedicated to young people passionate about Europe, mobility and innovation has been launched. The summer school, which will be held next June at the Collège des Ingénieurs in Turin, is promoted by TELT and named after Mario Virano, the Italian-French company’s first general director, one year after his death.
The initiative was launched this morning in Brussels by Manuela Rocca, Deputy general manager TELT and Erika Vaniglia, Managing director Collège des Ingénieurs Italia, during the Connecting Europe Days 2024, the event organised every two years by the European Commission involving all projects related to the development of the TEN-T transport network.
The Summer School
Between 17 and 28 June, for a period of two weeks, 25 young professionals from all over Europe will have the opportunity to learn more about the key topics related to the development of large infrastructures: geopolitical dimension and international relations, good practices for sustainable development, innovation processes and safety solutions. Experts, professors and professionals from different sectors will guide the participants through the challenges and opportunities of today’s most interesting infrastructure projects in the fields of transport, energy and construction thanks to work groups and round tables.
The selection
The summer school is addressed to people under 31 with a master’s degree, or in the process of obtaining one, in STEM, politics and international relations.
Applications are open from 3 April to 15 May 2024 on the following website: www.building-the-future.eu
