TELT becomes a member of the International Union of Railways (UIC), the worldwide professional association representing the railway sector and promoting rail transport.
With this membership, the public promoter of the cross-border section of the Lyon-Turin railway line reinforces its commitment to its future role as railway infrastructure manager. It will also have the possibility of developing collaborations and exchanges, participating in working groups on technical topics, sustainable development, safety, etc.

Indeed, the aim of the association is to address in the best possible way current and future challenges of mobility and sustainable development, to propose new ways to improve the technical and environmental performance of the railway sector, to improve competitiveness and to develop and facilitate all forms of international cooperation among members as well as the sharing of best practices.
